This project is ideal for complete beginners and those that are new to Powertex. It is also a brilliant upcycle idea using left-over jars, bottles and old flower pots.

The Fairy House will be weatherproof so it can live outdoors and decorate your garden!

The basic kit you will need to complete this project is listed below;

Jar, flower pot or bottle to act as the 'base'
Powertex fabric hardener - 100g/ 100ml minimum
Fabric - cotton t-shirt material is best, enough to wrap around the base a few times
Fabric - textured fabric such as lace adds an excellent element but is not essential
Pigments to add colour
Varnish to bind the pigments
Wide, flat paintbrush to add colour
Masking Tape and Foil (if you are adding a roof)
Pot to pour your Powertex in to
Protective glove - these are optional and should suit your personal preference
Fairy Door and other embellishments - optional
